What this site is
This website describes Rapid Alpha's services and publishes our thinking about growth planning for private-equity-backed companies. It is information, not an offer to contract, and nothing here creates a client relationship. An engagement between us begins only when both parties sign a written agreement describing the work.
The diagnostic is an indication, not advice
The Growth Gap Diagnostic is a short self-assessment. It reflects the answers you give and nothing else — it does not examine your company, your accounts or your market. Its output is a prompt for a conversation, not professional, financial, investment or legal advice, and no decision should rest on it.
Where the diagnostic describes a result in relation to peers, those bands are definitional: they describe what a given score means, and are not drawn from a measured pool of other companies' responses. The page says so where the result is shown.
Figures and sources
Charts and tables marked illustrative use invented figures chosen to explain a structure; they are not data about any company, and are labelled as such wherever they appear. Third-party statistics are attributed to their source and date on the page where they are used. Those sources are cited as published and we do not warrant their accuracy.
Forward-looking statements
Descriptions of what an engagement may achieve are statements of intent and method, not promises of a result. Outcomes depend on facts specific to each company.
Our content
The text, graphics, diagrams and design of this site belong to Rapid Alpha, Inc. or to the parties that licensed them to us. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to this material. You may not republish it wholesale, sell it, or present it as your own.
Client and third-party names appear only where their use has been agreed.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain access to systems or data you are not entitled to, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or use it to send anything unlawful.
Links out
Where we link to another organisation's site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
No warranty
The site is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at the moment you read it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapid Alpha, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunity, arising out of your use of this website or your reliance on anything published on it.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to this website, on any basis, will not exceed the greater of the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Rapid Alpha, Inc. submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the State of Washington.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
