This notice explains what Rapid Alpha collects when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us
If you complete the Growth Gap Diagnostic and choose to submit it, we receive the email address you enter and your answers to the twelve diagnostic questions, together with the date and time of submission. Your score is shown to you on screen whether or not you submit an address — submitting is optional and is not a condition of seeing the result.
If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message.
Information collected automatically
The site stores a small record in your browser's local storage. It holds the campaign parameters in the link you arrived by (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), the address of the page that referred you, and the first page you landed on. This lets us tell which channel a visitor came from. It stays on your device until you clear your browser storage, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings.
Analytics
TruConversion is active on this site. It is a website-analytics service that shows us how pages are actually used: which sections people read, how far they scroll, where they click, and how they move through forms. To do this it records page interactions during your visit and sets its own cookies. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with your email address.
Google Analytics 4 is built in but not currently switched on — no measurement identifier is configured, so no data is going to Google today. This notice will be updated on the day that changes.
If you would rather not be included, most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting, and browser privacy modes or tracker-blocking extensions will prevent the script loading.
[DECISION — now live, so this matters immediately: if the site is offered to visitors in the EU or UK, session recording requires consent BEFORE the script loads. A banner would be needed, and this section rewritten to describe it.]
Why we use it
- To respond to you. If you give us an email address, we use it to reply and to send the material you asked for.
- To understand which content works. Campaign and referral data tells us which channels bring the right readers.
- To keep the site working and secure. Server logs support troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making about you.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process information on our behalf: our hosting provider, our analytics providers once enabled, and our customer-relationship system once connected. Each acts on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
[DECISION: retention period. A common approach is to keep diagnostic submissions and enquiry correspondence for a fixed number of years from last contact, then delete. This needs a number that the business will actually honour.]
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop using your email address at any time. Write to the contact address above and we will respond within a reasonable period.
You can clear the local-storage record this site keeps by clearing site data in your browser. Doing so does not affect your ability to use the site.

Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes — including switching analytics on — will be described here rather than made quietly.
