AI Workflow Architect (LLM Systems & Prompt Engineering)
(AI Systems, Strategy, and Execution)
Why This Role Exists — and Why It Matters
Most prompt engineering today is:
- Ad hoc
- Fragile
- Non-reusable
- Disconnected from real business logic
This role exists to professionalize prompts into AI-executable systems.
You will not be writing one-off prompts or clever experiments.
You will design multi-step LLM workflows that are reliable, testable, reusable, and trusted.
As an AI Workflow Architect, you will turn ambiguous strategy and innovation problems into AI-native execution workflows that can be saved, rerun, versioned, and monetized inside EVOS.
If done well, your work will outlive individual engagements and become part of how companies actually operate.
What You’ll Own
AI Workflow Ownership (Non-Negotiable)
- Personally design and own multi-step LLM workflows
- Encode reasoning steps, constraints, and output structures explicitly
- Treat prompts as versioned system components, not ad-hoc text
- Be accountable for workflow correctness, repeatability, and failure modes
- Design workflows that can be trusted by non-technical users
Prompt Design & Engineering (LLM Reasoning Systems)
This is not content writing. Prompts are treated as executable logic.
You will design structured, multi-step prompt systems for:
- Market and competitor analysis
- Innovation opportunity discovery
- Behavioral and trend analysis
- Portfolio prioritization and diagnostics
- Intellectual Property (IP) and prior-art analysis
Your prompt systems must:
- Accept structured and unstructured inputs (datasets, URLs, documents)
- Produce consistent, interpretable outputs
- Handle edge cases and ambiguity explicitly
- Be reusable across contexts and users
- Be understandable by collaborators and end users
Workflow Architecture
You will combine prompts into end-to-end AI workflows that:
- Mirror how consultants and strategists actually work
- Define clear inputs, intermediate reasoning steps, and outputs
- Support repeatability, traceability, and comparison over time
- Can be saved, rerun, refined, and audited inside EVOS
Workflows must be explicit enough that:
- Results can be compared longitudinally
- Teams can collaborate using shared logic
- Changes can be versioned and explained
You are expected to implement workflows using modern LLM patterns (structured prompts, chaining, agentic reasoning, or equivalent).
Platform Integration
You will adapt workflows for use across:
- EVOS — our proprietary system for ingesting data and generating insights
- EVOS Marketplace — where reusable workflows and prompt systems are distributed
- ChatGPT
- Perplexity and similar research tools
You will ensure workflows are:
- Platform-appropriate
- Clearly documented
- Easy for users to onboard and reuse
Collaboration & Translation
You will work closely with:
- Strategists (to capture domain and decision logic)
- Technical writers (to ensure clarity and reuse)
- Developers (to ensure workflows are implementable)
A core part of the role is converting verbal, conceptual, or messy guidance into precise AI instructions.
Quality, Testing & Iteration
- Test workflows across diverse datasets and edge cases
- Identify failure modes (hallucinations, brittleness, ambiguity)
- Refine logic rather than “prompt hack”
- Maintain a versioned prompt/workflow library with documentation
What We’re Looking For
Core Capabilities
- Strong understanding of how LLMs reason — and how they fail
- Comfort designing systems, not one-off outputs
- Ability to balance determinism and flexibility intentionally
- Explicit, structured thinking style
Experience Requirements
- 3–7+ years total experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on work designing or implementing AI / LLM workflows or prompt systems
- Background in one or more of:
- Prompt engineering or AI workflow design
- Technical analysis or product operations involving LLMs
- Strategy, consulting, or research with demonstrated AI execution
- Demonstrated ability to turn vague goals into executable logic
Formal degrees are not required if hands-on AI workflow experience is strong.
Thinking Style
- Systems-oriented, not hack-oriented
- Skeptical of “magic prompts”
- Comfortable breaking complex problems into explicit steps
- Cares about reliability, repeatability, and trust
Communication
- Clear, precise written English
- Ability to explain how a workflow works and why
- Comfortable collaborating asynchronously in a remote team
Strongly Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with business strategy, innovation management, or consulting
- Familiarity with datasets, scraping, or document analysis
- Exposure to prompt marketplaces or workflow platforms
- Background in product management or operations
Relevant postgraduate education may include:
- Management / Strategy
- Economics or Applied Economics
- Data Science / Analytics
- Technology or Innovation Management
Evidence of Fit
Strong candidates can clearly describe:
- A multi-step AI or LLM workflow they personally designed
- How prompts were structured for consistency and reuse
- At least one failure mode they encountered and how they mitigated it
Who Should Apply
You should apply if:
- You enjoy designing systems that others rely on
- You care about correctness and usefulness more than cleverness
- You want your work to shape how businesses actually operate
- You are excited by the intersection of AI, strategy, and execution
You should not apply if:
- You prefer one-off prompt experiments
- Your experience is primarily in SEO, content writing, or annotation
- You focus on social-media “prompt tricks”
- You are uncomfortable testing, revising, and defending your logic
- You have not personally owned an AI or LLM workflow end-to-end

About Rapid Alpha
Rapid Alpha helps mid-sized companies (50–500 employees) break through growth ceilings by aligning Vision, Focus, and Results (VFR) into a repeatable execution system.
We built EVOS, an AI-enabled platform that allows companies to:
- Analyze markets, competitors, and customer behavior
- Structure innovation portfolios
- Run repeatable, auditable AI workflows using trusted data and curated prompts
EVOS is not a chatbot.
It is a business execution system designed to turn insight into action.
We are now building the workflow and prompt layer that makes this possible at scale.
